Remembering Mrs.Pankajam Skau

Tributes by Friends, Family & Colleagues
By Smita Nirmal – Powar
Our precious auntie Skau, until we meet again! Those special memories of you will always bring a smile to me. She had an infectious laugh because she lived life to the fullest! When you reflect on her life, you can see all that she has left behind for us to treasure and learn. She had immense strength to make way through all her duties and grab hold of life and pull it forward. The love she shared with tutu and me was warm and loving, we had the pleasure of relishing her bakes! I can remember auntie calling out to my mum from the 2nd floor when she’d bake a cake especially a wedding cake for a peek and taste! We cherish her memory and let it live in our hearts. We can cry and close our minds in sorrow or we can do what she would want: Smile, open our eyes to serve others, laugh, love, bake and go on.
Love you forever auntie!

My family and I have known aunty for years. A good human, candid and upright. Whenever I visited her at Bangalore and Kovilpatti her smile and hospitality always left an imprint on me. May God be with the rest of the family in this time of grief.
